Privacy Policy

The short version

Lead Laundry ("we", "our", "us") handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We collect what you give us through this site, we use it to reply to you and to send you the things you asked for, we never sell it, and you can ask us what we hold about you at any time.

What we collect, and when

• Contact form: your name, email, phone (if you give it), and your message.
• Newsletter: your email address.
• Performance Marketing Pulsecheck: your quiz answers and scores, plus the details you enter to receive your report (name, work email, company, and phone if you choose to give it).
• Booking a call: the details you enter into the calendar when you book a discovery call.
• Just browsing: standard technical data such as browser type, device and pages viewed, collected through the measurement tools below.

What we do with it

• Reply to your enquiry and run the work you engage us for.
• Send you the Pulsecheck report and follow-up emails you requested. Every marketing email we send has a working unsubscribe link, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires, and one click ends it.
• Understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. Ever.

The tools that touch your data

• HubSpot: our CRM. Form submissions, newsletter signups, Pulsecheck results and call bookings are stored there so a human can follow up. HubSpot stores data on servers that may be located overseas, including the United States.
• Google Tag Manager: manages our measurement tags, including analytics that tell us which pages get read.
• Cloudflare: serves the website and keeps standard server logs to protect it.

Cookies are involved in most of the above. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working, we just see less about how it is used.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, and unless we are required to keep it, we will
• Opt out of marketing at any time, via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us

Email [email protected] for any of these and we will sort it out. If you believe we have mishandled your information and we have not fixed it to your satisfaction, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we add a tool that collects personal information, or change how we use it, we update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
